All good questions. The last time I went in, a 2nd guy referred to my wheels as "industrial style", not ag style. The ag style wheels allow for a threaded valve stem on the tube, so the stem can't get sucked back into the wheel. I'd also like to know why these wheels and tires are so different. I notice in my manual that all the other tire configurations recommend around 20-28 psi and only mine recommend 40 psi.

MarkV, I am not sure why they would make rims like that either, but Ford did it on some of their 16" truck tires. Very easy to hit something with the side of the tire and pop the bead loose and have a flat tire :(
