could you be more specific as to what tire and what rim diameter.
The reason I ask is I just looked on michellins website and they show 3 16.9 x 28 ag tires and one reccomends a 14" rim, the other a 15" and another reccomends a 16" rim.
I have two 16.9, 24" tires and I am looking for the rims with or without the center wheels. Right on the tire, it says to use 15" rim. I was just wondering about the possibility of using 14, 15 or 16 in. if the opportunity came up.
I am sure you can get away with it, it will just bow the side wall in a little more than optimum. I had 16.9-38 on 14" and 15", both worked fine, but the 14" rim wore out faster.
