Couple of years ago I borrowed a 310 JD backhoe to dig a power line to the barn. Quite a boulder field, so I didn't get done 'til dark. Early next morning the guy's dad called and said the needed the thing to dig a grave, pronto. Of course when I went out a front tire (tubeless) was dead flat. The dad came over (72 yrs, I think) and we wrestled with the tire and against the deadline. 2" ratchet straps, soap, etc. wouldn't seat the bugger. Finally I strapped a comealong around the thing with the cable all the way around and hooked back onto itself. That did it, but we were both worn out. Dug the grave, I helped him for a couple hours and the machine drove off as the funeral party started arriving. Don't need that kind of pressure!
