Tires Tire Tube

Where is a good place to purchase a tire tube for the front tire of a 204 Jinma, 6.00X12. Any price guide line ideas?
Any idea how tough it is going to be to get the tire off the rim?

Farm supply store, or local Goodyear shop. I'd be surprised if you'd pay more than ten bucks

A large rubber mallet to break the bead and a couple of tire irons are need to get the tire off the rim. You'll break a sweat doing it. Personally I'd probably have my tractor tire place do it for just a little more money. I've done them before but I'm a little older now. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Yeap, I'm getting to old for this kind of stuff, I think I'll pay a few dollars and have someone else do it.

Ditto on that. I changed my 'last' tractor tire last year. Finnally stacked the tire spoons in the barn and told them they were re-tired /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I'm tired of fighting with rubber that is stronger, heavier, and more resiliant with me..

Besides.. the guys at the tire store slap it together in 5 minutes for only a small charge.. and free if I buy the tire from them.

Put me in the ol' guys corner. It's hard enough work just getting the wheel off and on without wrestling with the tire itself. Besides the local tire guy does it for $7 ... well worth it and the tubes are pretty cheap too. For around $20 - $25, he should have you back in business. Now, if he'd just go back to making house calls to fix tractor flats, life would be even better. At the farm, I had 13 flats and 4 new tubes in 2003 but only 3 and 1 tube last year. I love that SLIME!!!!!!!
