Stupid question, but here goes:
Bad valve on tire. Can I just unscrew internal air valve core, like a car tire and replace it with some of the spares cores I have?
On a Deere 5075E w/ filled tires. Tires weren’t soft, I wanted to check pressure. 1st thing I did was park valve at 12:00 and blew valve out with air hose. As soon as I did that I could hear valve leaking.
What I exactly am I looking at? Does core only screw into the little valve stem? Think I need that whole assembly that screws onto bigger stem, or just replace core with any old one that works? Is the big stem that attaches to rim for adding ballast?
I want to ask before I start taking things apart and end up with a stranded tractor with a flat tire, or a bunch of washer fluid on my lawn.
