i bought a new 3200 last july. i now have a problem with one of my rear tires. ever since the tire was new, there has been a small "chunk" of rubber sticking out from where the tire joins the bead. i finally tried to pull it out(i know, stupid). when i did i heard a minor air leak. now it keeps deflating. the dealer says it is not under warranty, i insisted that it should be and they are going to have their cub rep come out and look at it. i KNOW that the tire has not gotten against anything, and feel it is a defective tire. what do you all think?

The factory tires are junk anyway. The dealer should keep you happy seeing as you bought a ~$6K GT from them. IMO- I'd chalk it up as a loss & use this as the perfect excuse to get a nice set of carlisles. http://www.carlisletire.com/

I agree if the dealer is being a cheap skate regarding the tire he should be thankful its just the price of the tire he is concerned about.....those 2 ply tires are crap anyway and for the price of 4plys are only a few dollars more - dont by the tires from him try these sources
