Frank, if it doesn't work out here is an idea. Buy 2 wheels for a YM2000 ( 7 x 24 ) and put 8.3-24 tires on it, the 8.3 - 24 tires will be a lot less than the 8.3 - 22. I think the front to back ratio would be ok, if not put 6 -14 tires on the front to replace the 5-14 tires. You could sell your used tires & wheels to get some of your money back. The diameter of the 8.3-24 is about 1.5" more than the 8.3-22, I don't know if this is enough to hurt anything or not.
