Another vote for ratchet strap. Just be ready to release it once the tire starts taking air.

Lube the strap works before you start. The release is typically violent so be ready.

I have turned it sideways and wiggled it around while my wife put air to it. I will try taking out the valve core and the ratchet strap.

I tried that too but found the air compressor worked better

Remove the valve stem, so you get get much more air in quicker. I tighten, a ratchet strap positioned exactly in the center of the tire, which helps spread the tire bead closer to the rim. You can also use your free hand to kinda help the bead get closer to the rim, wherever it is leaking the most. Once you get the bead seated on the rim, you can let the air out, re-install the valve stem, and add air, as required.

Get a valve core tool and remove the core only not the stem! However, depending on your air chuck you may defeat yourself by removing the core. The strap works well on lots of sizes of tires. Also mix up some dishwashing soap and water (very light on the water or it drys out too quickly) to smear on the seat of the tire and the rim to allow the tire to slip on the rim.

Learn something new every day. I took the valve core out, no help. Ratchet strap worked great. Thanks for the suggestions.

I assume you are using a compressor v a hand pump for air.

When my smaller tires lose air and can’t be filled with a hand pump, a blast from a full compressor often has enough to seal the beads on the rim.

Next time you need that hand truck the tires will be flat again. Ditto for wheelbarrow tires. I got my replacements at TS, haven't had any trouble since.

Either also works great for getting beads to seat on stiff or tires that sat flat for a long time.
