Tired of Replacing Tail Lights on My GX2600

I finally got tired of having to replace the tail lights on my GC-2600 (because I'm not smart enough to stay AWAY from trees and other immovable objects!)

So I made a little modification, using some plate steel I bought at Lowes, and drilled out to the right size.

I can see how those would get in the way. My 1529 has the lights mounted the same as the GC-2600. Right now I'm trying to decide how I am going to mount some LED lights. I have a 24" light bar that will face forward. Then I have two 4" LED's that I want to make swivel so I can position them to light up the back or off to the side depending on what I am doing. I was thinking about putting them on the outside of the ROPS so they can swivel but then realized they would be unguarded and easy to rip off.
