I went out to do some bushhoggin' yesterday and found that my front right tire was low, very low, in pressure. So low, in fact that it rolled off the wheel. Man was I mad. So I used the bucket to lift it off the ground. I did not see a hole in the tire and the wheel itself looked fine. So I put the 45lbs in both fronts and 25lbs in the rear tires. I went on and cut two fileds that have been needing cut for a while (about 2.5 acres worth) and decided that I would keep a close eye on the tires.
Today I went out to check the pressure and my right front has 11.7lbs. What the heck? I guess I do have some sort of a leak. I will look agian for a hole. If there is one, can I simply put a plug in it like I do for my truck tires? If not what should I do? I guess I should also check the wheel again. What else should I look for?
Another thing that bothered me a little is that when I added a little air to the other tires, they were not warm or anything so I put the correct amount. Today, the other front tire has about 41lbs in it and the rears have about 22lbs. That just seems odd to me. Is it me or is that not normal?
Someone please give me some insight. Let me know what you think.
