It is recommended by most tire manufacturers that tires >10 years old be taken out of service for over the road use.
Those tires dont pass a visual safety examination.

When are Cracks in Tire Sidewall Unsafe?

When sidewall cracks are minor and superficial, it may be safe to continue driving on the tires. Sidewall cracks aren't completely out of the ordinary, and small cracks that are barely visible aren't likely to represent an imminent safety concern.

If sidewall cracks continue to grow in length, depth, or number, you may want to consider replacing your tires. This cracking can wear down the tire fast, and a small number of visible cracks can quickly lead to several major cracks that put your tire at serious risk of a sidewall blowout. In addition, cracks on a tire that is only a few years old may indicate a manufacturing defect in the tire, which needs to be addressed and likely replaced as soon as possible.

If tire cracking between treads is visible, it's important to have a trusted tire professional inspect the tire and, in most cases, replace the tire—even if the tread depth on your tires is still healthy. The visible cracking on the treaded part of the tire likely indicates compromises to the structural integrity of the tire that makes it unsafe to drive on the road.

I would change it, they could last for a while or they could blow up at the worse possible time. Murphy’s law
That's what i'm afraid of. They can blow up with 4 tons of gravel in dump... what would I do then? Definitely changing 'em!

My tires on my CUT look worst than that but they simply don't make my size anymore, and I've tried many many sources, even overseas.
I simply cross my fingers and pray and stay in my yard.
About the only positive factor is the cords are synthetic so they don't rot unlike old cotton threads.
Big problem is being a 4 x 4 I must respect ratios.

I've considered foaming but just don't find a local source to do so.

I have tires on a trailer that are on from 1999. BUT, the trailer is always kept in the machine shed out of the sun.

They look good...run them.

Weather checking on the outside layer of rubber only means that layer, which is there for pretty, is cracking. The success of the tire is the condition of the cords and chassis. Both unseen. That was the reason for date stamping.

Your cut isn’t going to have a catastrophic explosion on the freeway at 80 mph. You will just start getting flats. Annoying but not dangerous. You can also get a little more use out of them by tubing the tires.

For highway vehicles, the recommended replacement is 6-10 years using the date code of manufacture. I replaced 7 year old tires on my truck last fall even though there was still tread life remaining. I carry weight, pull trailers, and drive 80 mph down the interstate. I feel safer with new tires.
