can someone please explain what the numbers mean on the tires re: sizing. 24:00x8:00x8 or however they are listed? sorry for the dumb question.

I'm pretty sure it's Height x Width x Rim Size.

But don't quote me.

FIRST of ALL, there is no such thing as a "DUNB QUESTION", except for the one you DO NOT ASK ! ! !

As to your question, the first number is the height or diameter of the tire, the second number is the width of the tire, the third number is the rim diameter. In your example it would be a 24 inch tall tire that is 8 inches wide on an 8 inch rim.
