I have a ford 1100 with 7-16 ag tires. The specs are basically a 16x6in rim, 29.3 in overall tire diam, load cap of 1100. I am looking for turf tires and having a real hard time finding them in my neck of the woods, since Firestone discontinued the 23x8.50-12's.
Then I twigged just how common a rim size this is, and started looking at light truck tires. I found an agressive offroad tire that fits a 6 inch wide rim, in a 225/75/r16 spec. The tire diam is 29.4, so I dont believe it is enough to concern myself with messing up my 4wd ratio. The load capacity is much higher than my current tires, no problem there. So what am I missing ????. This is too easy to actually work out
