Went to the local fair last night and was looking at the tractors (currently looking to buy one) I looked at a John Deere 2305 TLB, Massy Ferguson GC2410 TLB and a Bobcat CT122. The Deere and the Massy had alot smaller tires than the Bobcat, The Bobcat tires were probably twice the size front and rear.
What are the advantages and disadvantages with the larger tires?

More ground clearance?

Bumpy Ride?

Backhoe will not dig as deep?

More top heavy?

I have not decided on what brand tractor I will buy yet, Trying to gain all the information I can before buying.

The biggest advantage of the KIOTI CK20S (CT122) over the subcompacts is the category 1 3-point hitch. With the additional ground clearance, regular category 1 implements with standard moldboards can be used. The sub-compacts require you use "limited" category 1 implements, or implements with shorter moldboards and hitches since the sub-compacts do not lift high enough for standard equipment. Sub-compacts are also very limited for post hole diggers for the same reasons. Sub-compacts are genenrally limited to a 36" auger since the arms are so short.

I believe the bobcat also specs out much better on lift capacities on the loader and 3PH. Also lift height on the bucket, which can be important when loading that tall pickup.
