I bought a pair and am very pleased. High grade steel and durable. Not cheaply made. Mine have the 2x4 receiver holes that help for tall items over the bucket top. You will not be disappointed.

I know this is an older post, but I wanted to add my experience in for anyone who researches the heck out of everything before they purchase (like I do).

I myself did quite a bit of research and hand wringing before I finally pulled the trigger and went with Titan for my grapple and pallet forks. When I bought my DK45S I already knew it would get a grapple as I had work that needed to be done on my 42 acres and my back was tired of doing that work... Anyway, I opted for the 48" version based on research, my needs, weight, and maneuverability. All I was doing was picking up downed trees and brush, and the single top jaw works just fine. First off - that steel was much thicker than I expected. I have done some serious work with it in the six months I have had it and they are as straight and solid as the day I got it. I HIGHLY recommend this grapple. I also purchased the pallet forks and while I have not used them as much, I can say they are also thicker than I expected and do not foresee ever needing more than they can provide. I try to put everything on pallets so I can move them around easier.

Shipping was very quick and on time and while I cannot say how much or if they will still do it - I was able to negotiate a small discount since I bought both implements at the same time. To all doing their own research, I will say you can't go wrong with Titan.

Hey 8N. Thanks for the feedback. Another unforeseen problem put my grapple plans on the back burner for a few months, maybe longer. So your experience is definitely relevant and still timely. How did you decide set up your hydraulics to control the grapple (and how do you like it)? I have the same tractor/loader sans cab.

I ran hydraulic lines from the rear remotes. Price was my deciding factor. I got the lines from a member here for a very reasonable price and tyrapped them around to the front of the loader. I have no issues at all using the rear hydraulic control as well as the stock loader joystick as I never need to move the grapple while operating the top jaw anyway, I am quite used to it now. My only complaint is how easy the rear remote control detent locks in place and you have to catch this and pop it out to reduce strain on the pump. Minor issue compared to the money I saved using this setup. I really like how finely you can control the speed and pressure of the top jaw with this setup.

The grapple stays on my tractor 90 percent of the time and I keep finding more uses for it. A great implement to make your tractor more usable.

Thanks for the information! After reading your feedback and seeing your profile picture, I've decided to go with the same setup on my DK45S. I noticed a large hose saver spring attached to your grapple. Did this come with the grapple? If not, where did you find it?

The spring hose saver came with the grapple. The website did not show this to come with this particular grapple, so I was surprised to see it in the shipment. It really works great to keep the hoses out of the way.

I have the 42" forks. Delivery was quick to a Tractor supply by my house. Used them extensively building my barn. Also got the optional hay spear with stabilizers. Very pleased with everything.

I have the root grapple V2, and pallet forks both are great! I have cleared about 3 acres of Florida palmetto land with it. I just had a cylinder go bad on the grapple and had a new one at the door in 3 days. And the grapple is built heavy with bracing everywhere. The only thing I have done to mine is I added to zerks to the lower cylinder arms. and they gave me 10% off for ordering both items together.

8N, I am with you... I have been researching the CRAP out of these for the last 8 months, there are pro's and con's to nearly every one I have seen. They have a killer deal on a combo Root Grapple Bucket/Pallet Forks that just seems too good to be true.

I really like the concept and design of this one.. but it is HEAVY...

I live in North Florida and have been steadily clearing for almost 6 months now and its time to invest, my question to you is how well does it actually rake roots? I know that sounds like kind of a dumb question, but I need the grapple function for the obvious reasons, but my land project has ALOT of scrub and root rake work as well that also needs to be removed and I am trying to wrap my head around the Titan grapples ability to tear up and push some thick scrub root mat. Next question.. if you don't mind have you ever run into a scenario where you wish you had the 60" or 72" version? We have close to the same size tractors and in my mind I can't seem to talk myself out of the 72" version (or 60" minimum), outside of the weight (which for me isn't as much of a concern) I would be curious on your take.

cat fever, I haven't spoken to them yet, but they shipped your forks to Tractor Supply?? What was the cost for shipping there and how did you make those arrangements?
