Titan Bale Spear

Anyone use the titan bale spears. Was looking at one for our skid steer as we need a euro mount quick attach and theres is priced decent 260$ shipped (even though There Mt pleasnt location is 5 miles from me). specifically this type Hay Spear Attachment for Global Euro Carrier Quick Attach Mount tractor Deere

Skidsteer Dual Hay Spear bale spike skid steer case kubota (HAY MP)

I bought this one a couple years ago and it's been great. I use it about every two weeks to feed my horses, so it doesn't get anywhere near the use somebody that is cutting and selling hay does, but for my use, I love it. For the price, it's perfect!!!!!

It came wrapped in cardboard that was falling apart, and the paint was damaged from the poor packing job, but to me, that's small stuff. It was half the price of anybody else, so that's what I like about it the best!!!

We have the Combo 36" Forks / Spear set-up

We have never used the spear - for what few bales we move I just lift them with the forks. We have long range plans to build a 3pt spear frame (and I also bought the CONUS taper collar from Titan) for the spear.

Pretty much the same experience as Eddie - Came wrapped in cardboard & banded to a pallet (that we had to just push off the trailer because we had no pallet forks - ironic :laughing: ).

So far they have held up well, performed as expected and (since purchased from Titan when they used to auction on e-bay) the price was good also.
