Jesi, Italy, population 39,000, is in the Province of Marches, on the northeastern coast of Italy, near the Adriatic Sea, a major wine region. Established in the 11th century, it later became a Roman colony. Then, until 1808, it was an independent city state.
New Holland’s TN-A, TN-DA, TN-SA, TK-A, TN-FA, TN-VA & TL-A Series
Tractors are manufactured there, in a plant of just over 2 million square
feet, of which 710, 443 square feet are under roof. The Jesi manufacturing
facility was purchased in 1977, but the
focus on tractors began only in 1996.
Today it employs about 850 people.
The Jesi facility is committed
to be a high-quality, low cost,
consumer-focused producer
of utility and specialty agricultural
tractors. Shipments
from Jesi go to many markets
of the world, with
almost a quarter of the total
destined for North America.
