Go take a look, the roof pan is different on some but you can swap windows and doors in all those cabs. The interior trim is also a bit different in years and models, some have jump seats etc.

The Case/IH JX-U has the same cab too.

This is not just from looking at pictures, I've been test driving these units since my earlier posts trying to decide what to buy.

This is not a strange occurrence, MF uses the same cab on about 10 series over the last 15 years with slight trim changes.

I'm not buying the cab commonality.

Challenge accepted. I chose a TL100 and looked at the cab frame and every piece of glass used in that model. The only commonality I found outside of the 35 series/TL/TLA/T5000 family was the lower rear window and door glass. Frames, rear windows, side windows, and windshield glass are all different. From my experience removing headliners and servicing vent fans, A/C and other cab components, there are great differences between series.

Has anyone actually laid eyes on a T5000 Series on a dealer lot yet?

Hmmm, I need to go back up to my local shop and see if they have one yet. I was up there last month and they had some small TD's/TN's and a TS, T6030, and T7030 but no T4000 or T5000's yet.

Rick I think we are talking about different things, I know the trim levels in the cabs are vastly different, as are controls, equipment seals etc. But the frame of the cab, the interior dimensions, are the same in all the series discussed. There are all kinds of small differences but the basic dimensions and size of the cab are the same.

I know the doors between several models are different, but they will swap in many cases. In some you'd need the other latch too, but the door opening is the same. There seem to have been about 6 different roof pans fitted over the years, but the frame they sit on is the same.

Hmm, I guess maybe I'm not clear about what I'm talking about. Oh well. I found another NH model line to add to the list, the xx70 series cab is also the same style/design/dimensions as well.
