Well, the Italians are suppose to be a little smaller then us Americans so anything is possible. All I know is there doesn't look like enough room for my 3 year old daughter to sit on a jump seat in the standard TN cab let alone an adult. If it was a hydro equiped tractor then maybe but there just isn't enough room to work the clutch in this cab. Having had someone ride along with me while sitting semi perched on the fender covering I know how much fun it is to work the clutch with an extra set of legs.:(

I just couldn't let this drop so I looked up the seat in the New Holland parts manual. Not exactly what I expect4ed. Looks kinda like sitting on the fender.

Yeah, I see what you are talking about now. One good bump and your passenger is on your lap (which if she is cute might not be a bad thing;) )

I can not think that seat is very comfortable for anything more then a couple trips around the field as a quick instructional seat. If you look at the picture on the top right corner of page seven of your link I think that is the seat folded down to the left of the operators seat.

Are dealers giving better buys on the letter series TL, TN, etc because they will be replaced soon by 4000, 5000? The new 5000 will have a little more 3-pt capacity and minor changes, but otherwise the same?

What kind of price should I be looking to pay for a TL90-A, deluxe 24-speed, 4WD, cab? I heard of one being sold in my area recently, reportedly in mid $40K range. Does this sound right, or too much?

It's my understanding that the A's are just newer/later models, but not larger machines, just some refinements/improvements over the years. Maybe someone else can tell us more about any differences. Anyways, it's a new TL-A that I'll be looking at.

Just to follow up and fix a bunch of mistakes I posted earlier:

35 series > TL series, (and Case JX-U) All fiat heritage
40 series > TS series, Ford heritage but the current TS-A lost most of that.
60 series > TM series


The 35, 40, 60, TL, TS (old series), TM's all share the same exact cab.
