TN 65 not starting

Rick, did they change the setup in the later models? My safety switches are held on by two phillip head screws and the easiest way to get to those was via the tire. I tried going thru the pto lever slot but there was not enough room to get my hand thru there to turn the screw driver. Did the later models have bolts or do you just take off the entire lever and then replace the switch? I am just wondering because if I have to do it again I would rather not have to play with the tire. I was lucky when I went to put it back on it lined up exact the first time I put it in there. Have a good one.

I did not clearly state I was describing swapping out the shuttle NSS which is a ball switch that threads directly into the transmission case. My hand does not fit through the PTO lever slot, just the wrench handle. There may have been a change to the connector style, but I think the basic shuttle neutral switch configuration has not changed. This only applies to mechanical shuttle tractors, not PowerShuttle units which have the NSS on the clutch pedal.

My neutral switch is a push button setup that is mounted to the levers. This is on a mechanical shuttle but my machine was one of the early ones when they first brought out the TN. The switch is the same on the parking brake also. They are held on by two phillip head screws. Are these still on the newer unit or did they change the setup as I am only familar with mine as far as working on one.

PTO and park brake switches are the same. The mechanical shuttle NS switches I am familiar with are a screw-in ball switch. Yours may be different.
