I've posted other pictures of this tractor before, but I keep getting private messages regarding the backhoe setup so I thought I'd post a couple of new pictures. This is a Woods 1050 backhoe with a self contained PTO hydraulic pump and tank, mounted on a TN75D via the Cat II 3 point hitch. Both Woods engineering and New Holand engineering said it was okay to use a rigid 3pt hitch backhoe on a TN.

I've always used subframes on my smaller compacts but just got sick of the effort required to remount the quick attaches. They all dropped in under a minute, but remounting was anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours of hard work.

Just call me lazy in my old age. Actually I kept my 2120 for most of the 3pt hitch work and keep the backhoe on the TN most of the time.

Common out and visit. I'll let you play.. On my rocky stumpy farm I could dig for weeks on end and not get much done. This picture was taken before my 15 year old son ripped off a tooth on a large bolder he dug out. Some where I have pictures of what he was able to do by himself with the TN

Remember I bought the 44,000 # excavator to do the heavy digging but it just sits there. I haven't had a chance to get it going. I'm trying to convince Junkman and lamarbur who both live close by to come over and help get it going and I'll let them play. There's nothing like ripping up something with an excavator or backhoe. Just like a giant extention of your hand...lol

Andy,
I mis-understood. I thought you said, as soon as you get that Hitachi running, you wanted me over to do some serious excavator work:)
On another note, for you guys with the TN's.. I've tried Andy's 3 pt mounted hoe, and it is strong, tight, and can do some serious work. I didn't think a 3 pt could be that solidly designed and work.. It is, believe me..

Just kidding I didn't actually ask you for help...yet
But in case you wake up on one of those days with nothing to do from your famous tag line.
