I found this quite weird, but nothing surprises me anymore. My battery went out on my 2000 TN65, so I head to the dealer in Reynoldsville, Pa and asked if they had a replacement; sure enough they did. I brought the old battery in and we tried to match the new to the old. No luck!!
After extensive research, we found the battery to be a "Special Purpose" battery, used in Ferrari's, Lamborgini's, etc. As they stated...for use in "High-Performance Italian sports cars". I can understand...being an Italian-built (Fiat) tractor in the same country where famous race cars are manufactured.
Geez....maybe tomorrow I'll find a bright blue Ferrari F430 Modena sitting in the shed.
