Oil & Fuel TN65 - high fuel consumption

I started noticing the black smoke myself. I thought it was the hours but now I guess it ain't. Has anybody used B100 and if so, noticed a difference in fuel consumption?

I was going to use it but when I went to buy some at the plant it was all locked up. Noone else here sells it. These new New hollands are supposed to be good for it. Who knows.

Max fuel usuage was 3.3 gal/hr under full load. I know that the newer ULSD diesel has slightly less energy but I wouldn't think it would be noticeable in most conditions.

What does this have to do with tractors using more fuel?

If you are not getting a full gallon for a gallon it has a lot to do with it.
