TN70DA hydraulic switch issues

Looks to me like 87395493 is the pressure switch that detects pressure oil between the MFD solenoid valve and clutch. This controls the MFD icon on the dash. The pressure switch triggering the red icon in question is p/n 82030730 which senses pressure in the power shuttle and services valve.

Where is switch # 82030730 located?

Is it in the same area as switch # 87395493.

Any special procedure to replace, ie remove rear tire, drop fuel tank etc.

Hold on; that may not be the switch I thougth it was. I still think they led you astray, I just don't want to do it to you as well.

If your tractor has electro-hydraulic engagement of the 4wd, there are two of those switches. One on the transmission control valve and one on the services valve just to the rear. Might pay to swap the switches. A switch on the 4wd circuit that has failed open will give a lit 4wd icon on the dash whether the 4wd is engaged or not. These switches have been problematic and there are at least two versions of this switch with different appearance but the same part number.

I found the switch 82030730 on the on-line parts lookup. I found it under section 1.75.0(01) electric controls. My thought was if unplug or ground the wire to from switch 82030730, the light should go out. If that would be the case, it looks like the switch is near the drop box for the fwd.

I do have electro 4wd with limited slip front differentail, mechanical lock rear differential.

I have not had any issues, yet, with the 4wd indicator light. I do however have a 4wd issue. Under heavy traction backing up an incline with the 4wd engaged it jumps out of 4wd for a split second. Almost like it jumps a tooth on the 4wd engament. But this only happens under extreme situations.
