Oh, common guys that stock battery and 45 amp alternator is going to run that winch just fine under load.
Just as long as you can get the job done in 2-3 minutes, whats a little 500-700 amp draw to be concerned with.:confused2:

As has been mentioned an electric winch requires a large amount of current to do much,
that requires large and or multiple batteries and upgraded alternators and wiring.
A hydraulic winch or pto powered is much better suited to hard work,
an electric can be used but it would not be my first choice for HD use.
