I agree, but they have no computer hook-up at the dealership. What other suggestions do you have? I am grasping at straws. TIA

How can they be a NH dealer and not have the equipment to service them?

That one is easy. Find another dealer. Fast. These tractors aren't difficult to diagnose given the proper tools and a little experience. Your tractor's repair history proves that diagnosis is impossible without them, however.

Easier said than done. Over a hundred miles to the next closest NH dealer. That's a long way to haul a tractor. Can I buy an electro-diagnostic tool myself??

Yes, but time you buy the repair manuals and the diagnostic tool and learn how to fix your tractor, you would probably be better off trucking it. Or if local service is that bad, switch brands.

Use the New Holland Dealer locate Dealers there are a couple of options in your area. I would say it maybe worth the money at this point. Sometime the dealer is the best option when it comes to electronics.

As RickB said, buying the manuals (probably hundreds of dollars) and the diagnostic tool (thousands?), it'd be cheaper to haul the tractor to the dealer or have them come to you.

Check with a non NH dealer, the machine many of them use is not brand specific, the only difference is the cable used to connect to the tractor. Here's a link to an analyzer and the prices of various different cables:

Tractor, Combine diagnostic tool

Here's a couple of screen shots from a a Deere tractor.

Well, I ordered the complete set of repair manuals off ebay. Talked to a dealer that is 95 miles away and they have the diagnostic equipment. $800 transport for them to come pick it up. I talked to the local dealer again and he's going to talk to the factory rep and see if something else can be done. Called Kubota and JD and they said there machines won't work even with the right cable (thought about buying the adapter). I am still stuck. I will never buy another tractor with electric shuttle again unless they have the diagnostic equipment locally. I looked at MF 4610 and it has all the electronics, but they have the computers to work on them. Unfortunately, turf tires are not an option on the MF. Bought a 5470 MF last year, but it's way too big for what I need at home/church. The TN75S is perfect for me if I could get the electrics to work properly. I use it to cut 30 acres weekly at the church and the galaxy tires work great and don't tear up the turf. $4500 to buy my own electro-diagnostic machine is not really an option.
