I just purchased a TnT setup from CCM and they recommended getting the hydraulic connection from the existing valve associated with the front loader. I have a L3130 with a 723 loader.
I am new to hydraulics and was looking for some assistance in getting this hooked up. My questions are:
1. Where does this tie into the existing valve
2. Where do you plumb in the return to the tank.
3. What is the best way to route the hoses
Any pics would be a great help. TIA

The best place to make connections is at the loader hydraulic block on the transmission. Here are the steps.
<ul type="square"> [*]Find the loader's hydraulic block on the transmission (it will have 2 hoses connected to it). Determine which of the two connections is the one that comes FROM the loader's PB port and disconnect it from the hydraulic block. It is usually the bottom hose or the one closest to the rear, but always check to make sure as it is important that you identify the correct hose.
[*]Connect the hose from your CCM valve's inlet to this hose. You can use a union fitting to do this or just replace the loader hose with a longer one so that the loader PB port connects to the CCM valve inlet port.
[*]Connect the CCM valve's power beyond port to the now open port on the hydraulic block.
[*]Trace the loader valve's tank return to where it goes into the transmission, usually under the seat somewhere. Connect the CCM valve's tank outlet and the loader's tank outlet to the transmission. These connections can be Teed together using the proper fitting. These are the only connections that can be Teed together. [/list] You are now connected and ready to go. Connect the CCM valve's work ports to your TNT cylinders using the proper fittings and quick disconnects.

Route you hoses in a manner that does not leave them hanging loosely where a branch can catch them. Sorry I have no pics as every tractor is different.

BEWARE. The fittings on your TNT cylinders are 3/8" BSPP. You will need a BSPP to NPT adatper fitting here. Surplus Center sells them as should your hydraulic shop.

Good luck. If you have any other questions, PM me.

Be sure they went you the power beyond sleeve with the kit. It is a silver threaded fitting that screws into the power beyond port of the valve they sent you. I had to use teflon tape when I connected the hose to the power beyond sleeve.

If you look at B7510 T n T you should be able to see how I installed the CCM stuff on my B7510.

Mad, Thanks for the quick response. I think I understand everything. Your explaination was very thorough. The block that you referred to I believe is below the floor board next to the hydraulic filter on my 3130. I guess the biggest challenge now is getting the correct fittings and hoses.

Thanks again, Mike

You will need a combination of 3/8" NPT and 3/8" JIC connections along with a Tee that has a mixutre of both. Scope out everything first. You can measure hose length using a garden hose and add an extra inch or two for the fittings. You can get a fitting size chart at FittingsAndApapters.com .

Mad, attached is a document from my manual.
I wanted to have you look at it and comment.

From what you said, I will be connecting to "C" from Implement (outlet) and D (tee) from implement (tank port)

TIA

Not trying to be a smart arse or anything but wouldn't you be subtracting an inch or two?
And since I have your attention I would like to thank you for your good explinations that I can even understand /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hose length is measured from end of fitting to end of fitting. You also have to have enough slack in the hose to get it into place. It is always better to have an extra inch than to not have that inch.

In their diagram the implement is the loader. So...

"C" is connected the PB line from the loader . Disconnect this line and run it into the CCM valve's inlet using either of the methods I described earlier. Connect the CCM PB port to "C" on the hydraulic block.

"D" will get a Tee fitting and both the loader and CCM valve's return to tank hoses will connect here.

Simple.

Thanks I did not think about how they are measured for factory hoses. I have had a couple made up and they always ask if its total length or hose length. Probably just how the guy at parker makes them.
