Had a cracked manifold (rearmost exhaust port). In the process of replacing that, I decided to try out a vertical exhaust. The manifold I bought was an aftermarket one that has a triangular exhaust outlet flange instead of the original flare-and-clamp connection. The 180-degree elbow is P/N 181866M2 and is a nice heavy cast piece. Muffler is a Stanley MF-10 with a Speeco 2" rain cap on top. Works well - I just need to extend the downstream pipe on the muffler - it currently exhausts right about face level while sitting on the tractor. :ill:
Took a few passes on the dirt part of the driveway with it today before giving it a bath and parking it till I extend the exhaust...
