To tarp or not to tarp?

/ To tarp or not to tarp? #31
Plastic or tarp on ground and breathable soft car cover on top, preferably one with built in elastic to keep it in place, green critter killer pellets on ground...done. I use the above system for my attachments as well as my trencher for our nasty NY winters.
The green critter killer pellets are OK so long as you don't use them near your house. Tried these a couple of times in a back shed and attached barn. The tiny critters found their way into the walls of my old house and died there. Wasn't very pleasant for a month or so. Tried plugging every hole I could find, but a farm house built in the late 1800's isn't so easy to seal up.

If you are worried about moisture build up if you put a tarp over the open side of the shed.....use shade cloth instead.
...If you get 90%UV rated cloth it stops rain and snow from getting in the shed.
It breaths so no moisture build up so you can cover the opening all the way down to the ground.
It does allow light in and helps deter visits from little invaders...... and as an added bonus in summer helps keep the shed cool

just a thought
