In the 29 years of business we have done so much freebe work from kids play grounds to rebuilding homes to whole sports complex.I laugh or try to(lol) one year it seem I have one guy and a tractor doing nothing but that....But we do have insurance and most cases I do it under my club name The Good Time Gang just to make not look as much as we doing it for business PR..Doing the storms we donate to help IF they didnt have insurance.

My insurance agent tells me that my equipment is covered when I take it off farm for volunteer work (as long as I'm not getting paid for it). I do a lot of bridle trail maintenance in state parks and forests. But I hadn't thought about personal liability issues. Hmmmm.

FWIW, when doing volunteer work here in Ohio parks, we are covered if we are injured by state workman's comp.
