Snow coming tomorrow here in Vermont so got some of the clearing that I致e been wanting to do before it comes back.

I hate it when this happens. View attachment 591251

And the quick hitch was sitting on the tree trunk slope and wouldn稚 drop down to disengage.

Did get a lot of clearing done though in this one area that had been overgrown for at least 50 years according to the previous owner.

I pushed some banks back before the "big" storm which is mostly over now and not so big - 6" here so far. I can't believe you had bare ground in Bennington. Good job hooking on to that tree  - glad you recovered.

5 1/2 hours plowing the foot of snow we got since yesterday. I plow with the FEL, that way I can relocate the snow where I want it.

A few hours plowing 6-8 inches of snow that had sleet and rain mixed in had a 2 inch crust in it.

I finally got some seat time... first time clearing snow with my BX. Record snow too! 18in. Unheard of around here. Never in 58 years have we had a dump like this... super fun. Like being my sandbox a half century ago! :D

I have a new appreciation for appropriate snow weapons now... my bucket outfitted with a PTB is not ideal but it was better than shoveling!

Records like that are quite a thing. That is a interesting snow clearing experience I am sure - looks like concrete. At least it is warmish and you have time to deal with it so that it is fun. My grand daughter drove up to Seattle from Portland to visit some friends for the weekend and got trapped there by that storm. She says she thinks she can get out of the icy neighborhood today.

I was even surprised at that much snow, had do do a double take and go back to your avatar, yes he is in Washington state. I've always been hearing how Washington dont get much snow, and now your BX looks out gunned and out matched, that's a lot of white stuff you was probably wishing you had a
bigger tractor while you was playing.

I have a PTB on my L2800 and use it frequently for pushing back piles and banks. Love the bar. I occasionally plow with it.

I'm thinking about changing my user name to "Kubota Shur Plowsalot". At about daylight I started up the tractor and began plowing my driveway. I was moving snow for most of the day, and for the first time in my life got stuck so badly that I had to shovel to get going again.
The hill up my field was a challenge as it hadn't been plowed in 3 weeks; I first had to run my snowsled up the road to settle the snow, then fill the bucket with it, lock the rears and slog my way to the top so that I could plow back down.

Tomorrow I'm headed south to clean out around the family greenhouse; for the first time since my parents retired in 2004 it's going to be a commercial entity and I need to clean up so that the lessee can start moving in.
