Tomorrow will be a 3-bra day!

I hear ya. I don't know how you southerners/midwesterners deal with it...gets hot/humid enough here in New England, but nothing compared to what you guys get.
Not really a hot weather guy to begin with, and as I get older I'm becoming even less tolerant of it. Cold (within reason) not so bad.
It’s all in what you are used to. I like cold weather and to me that is no lower than 30f. I also like hot weather - about 90f. I just don’t always get my preference. Humidity does make a big difference.

For me that also means recently used to.
Hailing from Northern Vermont I was used to weeks of sub zero temps and an occasional 40 below. Moving to Virginia and then trying to retire in Mississippi I became accustomed to summers with 100°F plus.
Now in the winters I like to let the house get down to less than 60°F and the summers, when alone, 78°F or more is where I set the a/c. Makes less of a differential.
/edit - now how do I get accustomed to this darn Canadian smoke?

That is certainly a range of temps to get used to!

This reminds me of why I like living in the north. Yesterday, it got into the mid 80's and was humid, so because of the smoke I closed the windows and turned on the A/C for the first time. I probably use A/C two or three weeks a year on average.

In Vermont for a while they banned car a/c.
I also think it may be illegal to hunt unicorns there.

My wife, daughters, sisters, and sister in law will tell each other how hot and sweaty they got working outside by the bra method. Put on a clean bra in the morning, work outside to lunch and it is soaked in sweat. Put on second bra and work until evening and it too is soaked so when they go in the house they shower and put on the third bra (maybe). Thus it is a three bra day. Tomorrow looks to be that type of day.

Supposed to have a heat index of around 105 tomorrow. Don't know what the humidity will be but it was awful when I went into the house about 10:00. My socks and underwear were soaked in sweat and all I was doing was watering the plants.

RSKY
My wife solved the problem of sweaty bras. She quit wearing them.

I live in Kentucky. There have been days when we would run heat in the morning and the A/C in the afternoon. Go outside with a heavy jacket in the morning and weed eat the yard with a T-shirt in the afternoon.

Or sometimes it would be the opposite.

As a friend said to me the other day, "Just be glad it's not snowing! Can you imagine shoveling snow in this heat!"
