They didn't taint the flavor of my tea. I'm digging stumps and knocking down trees. Sometimes it just pours out in a steady stream. At this point it is comical. I took a sample to the dealer, they didn't have a clue.

It isn't a golf course yet and only about 5ac to go in this field.

Going to keep all my whining here I guess.

I know there is a no dealer bashing rule here but it is very hard to follow when they act like this.

Not only did they drag their feet about the delivery date, chains they also delivered everything without pins, I drove the 60 miles back there the next Saturday to pick them up.

Yesterday I go to put the rotary cutter on for the first time only to find the PTO shaft is too long and there are no clips on the built in pins for the lower arms. I asked multiple times in email and in person to check those shafts. Am I wrong in thinking that when you buy an implement, it should come complete?

As somebody who set up countless machines for delivery over my 12 years working in tractor dealerships, all implements should have there own pins when delivered, and all implements should have been trial fit, especially those with driveshafts that may need to be shortened.

If those are steel shot, it is definitely blasting media but I have no idea why they would be inside the tractor cab. Painters should have rolled it around a bit to dump any media out of open tubing when prepping to paint. Maybe the blasting is done in an area without any lifting equipment at the factory. Anyway, I haven't had anything like that come out of my 2010 model P7010C so maybe it is a new production scheme to reduce labor cost.

I will be doing the 50 hr service Saturday. So far I've no complaints at all with the machine. Some dealer prep problems and general dealer incompetence with the whole sale, but no tractor specific issues other than the blasting media pouring from the roof. LS sent actual Engineers to my house to investigate, they took pictures, used a HEPA vac to clean it up and overall were very helpful and friendly.

So friendly in fact that we grilled out, drank a Twisted Teas, went downtown to check out the Nashville nightlife and then camped my spare bedroom to collect on the Per Diem they get for hotels and meals. I even printed up an Bed and Breakfast receipt for them to turn in. LS, if you actually read here, you could not have sent better representatives to check this out.

They did send an email confirming that it was blasting media but didn't know why it was there. They will consult with the Factory Engineers to review the process to hopefully eliminate the problem.

If LS does read here, I hope they don't get into any trouble having turned in your "receipt" for lodging expenses...

I misunderstood. I thought they were turning in a receipt like they had to pay, then would get reimbursed that amount. Never mind! :ashamed:

You were thinking along the right lines. They didn't pay me anything but wanted the receipt for if they ever get audited by the IRS.

They get a set Per Diem ($35day for food, $100 per day for lodging) amount whether they sleep in the car or at the Hilton, eat McDonalds or Ruth Chris. Don't have to turn anything into the company.

Shady? Maybe, but pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things.

It's good to hear that LS investigated and are taking steps to improve things. Btw your OP mentioned a Golf Course, are you building a whole course or just 1 hole? If you are are you should post a few pics of your progress, I for one would be very interested. I've always dreamed of building a golf hole or 2! :)
