I am curious to see just how well a hydraulic PHD works on our Class IIIs. Something about being out front, having down pressure, and being able to reverse the auger sounds a lot more practical than a 3-point mounted counterpart.

Never doubt, I'm anxious to see it too and get some feedback on how well it works. I've seen one of these at my dealer from Belltec, but this one looks different and may not require as much flow. The one at my dealer is never actually plumbed to the tractor it is on. It's just a showroom queen. I have my doubts about the operation of the Belltec on a Class III Boomer. However, I think it would be the "cat's meow" on a TC55 with 3 more gpm of flow.

Hi chuck,The auger is a Landpride hd25 it operates on 5 to 12 gpm.It seems to work fine on my rig.I have many porch and deck footings a year to do.I did the footings on one of my houses that i would have had to pay the deck builder around $200.I did them all in less than 15 minutes.If I hit a rock it goes into bypass and stops,no shear pin breakage,if it gets hung up I just reverse it a little and hit it again.With the controllable down pressure from the fel it cuts through clay very easy.I paid 1500 for it with the 12" when i bought my tractor.

Hi Jinman I looked at the beltec site and they have one that our rigs would run. It's the Belltec NC-Series hydraulic auger drives and they operate between 6 and 30 GPM and 2000 to 3000 PSI.

Nice looking tractor. I've got one on order for 2 weeks now and I can hardly wait to get it. I've got too much work piling up around my place. How long did it take for you to get yours? Have a Happy Thansgiving and may God bless.
