Took the plunge

Hello All,

I am fairly new here, but I thought that I would let everyone know that from reading all the post I took the plunge and bought a Yanmar.

I purchased a YM1500d with a new Leon 400 loader from winnipeg. It arrived on tuesday and I have already spent a couple hours getting the feel for her!

The only problem I have had was the shipping co. left the key turned on in the iginition so the battery drained a little. Just a quick boost and I was back in business.

Please keep up all the great posts and responses. The informaiton in invaluable to us newbies.

Welcome to the club! I am also the proud owner of a 1500D. It's amazing what this little tractor can do. Just this evening I was digging up some cedar tree stumps with the FEL. Just dig in a little and lift and it popped them right out of the ground. Sure saves a lot of hand digging! Enjoy the new tractor and post some pictures!

I also bought a Yanmar 1700D about 1 month ago and have been very happy. I also have a loader and wonder how it was that I got any work done around my place. I bought mine from a private party and am still awaiting for any manuals as promised. I still don't know what hydrolic fluids are needed or what oil filter is required or how many hours before a change. I'm glad you guys are around to help.

rainer, Manuals wont answer any of those questions for you. If you need service advice you can always call our shop or ask the guys here and they will fill you in.
