Welcome and congratulations. I noticed in your profile that one of your hobies is fabricating. Did you really buy a tractor, or is that a fabrication?

A teacher that hunts? one of those must be a fabrication too. OK lets not get political. Welcome, that sounds like a good deal, I went to the JD website right away assuming the 4310 was 4wd and worked up to $27000 and change MSRP.

I came up with the 27000 number as well so I think it is a pretty good deal.

Not sure where you are going with the hunting??

I thought Cliffjohns comment was funny and that it is uncommon to find teachers who hunt. What subject or grade do you teach?

I was laughing to because that's what i thought he meant but was not sure. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Drafting, woodworking, metal working, electronics and automotive are the classes that I teach.

Todd,
Sounds like you got a good price on a great tractor. But to confirm that we probably need some pictures of your first project. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have fun and be safe.

Hopefully I can post some pics next week. At this point it looks like the tractor will be delivered on Monday or Tues.

I just read a couple of post of people thanking everyone here for info for their purchases.

I would have to say the same. I have been reading info here and a few other places and this sight is the reason I have a tractor now. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif My wife and I had planned to buy one next spring but I thought the price of this one was to good to pass up .

Gotcha! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yup, they'll fit. They're U-N-I-V-E-R-S-A-L !

The only problem that I've found with them is that they don't perform as well for some as they do for others! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
