Tool Box

I'm thinking of using a couple of u-bolts and mounting a large toolbox between the ROPs arms, above the fuel tank. That way I can get to it from the seat or from behind the tractor. ...just my 2 cents worth.

if the chain isnt to big how about capping off the tube (pipe ) that goes though the loader and sliding the chain in there.

I have a heavy duty chain with hooks wraped around my 3pnt hitch arms. it stays right there while i work with the loader, or mowing. i take it off to hook the rake or other attachments on, but other than that shes right there to hook on a tree or what ever i want to move or rip up....GGGRrrrrrr..Larry

Gary, the 16LA loader has a massive brace made out of an elliptical tube about 12" wide through the long part of the ellipse. Unlike other loaders which use a tube for the brace, the NH brace is welded onto the inside of the loader arms and there is no opening into the brace. Otherwise, I'd like your idea and your style of using your common sense to look for extra storage space.

I like that idea, and will look at putting it to good use. Maybe could slip the chain (could be just a short length that will fit) into a plastic tube or hook it to a rod that could be used to "stuff" it in. Hard to push a chain (someone told me that many years ago!). Thanks!

I just received my cup holder and tool box and installed them today. Only problem is the bottom of my tool box doesn't sit on top of the bracket. It just seesaws back and forth where its attached with the pin. Does the bottom of your box rest on the bracket. If you could post a picture I would sure appreciate it.

Did you get the fender mount toolbox or the one that comes with the D models? Here is a picture of the one I have.

Got the fender mount today and ordered one like you have ($54.00). In my NH brochure they have the type I got mounted in three different places (right side on ROPS, rear center above top link, left fender above where your box is located). I'm pretty sure I have the correct mounting bracket (it fit the three holes on the fender), but may have the wrong box. Its too long and not deep enough.

How big is the box that mounts over the top link? I don't think I have seen that one.
