Check cables and make sure they have a good connection, is there a main relay or breaker? Possibly a usable link?
Why would anyone replace a battery with 12.7?
What?????Why would anyone replace a battery with 12.7?
12.7 is considered a fully charged battery, where do you come up with this stuff12.7 is basically DOA....![]()
On my G series, the 100a fuse is up by the battery where power for everything but starter branches off red lead. It is near where the sight glass is for the hydraulic fluid tank.I've heard of this mythical mega fuse but I've been unable to find it. Where about is it located? I did check the fuseable links by the battery but they're all intact.
Thanks Ruffdog. I'll go searching. On my G series, the 100a fuse is up by the battery where power for everything but starter branches off red lead. It is near where the sight glass is for the hydraulic fluid tank.
Yup. I agree and have been creeping around that thing with a multimeter. I'll report back this evening. Why would anyone replace a battery with 12.7?
A few years ago I thought I had dead batteries and here I bumped a switch with a heavy draw the previous day that was wired directly to the batteries. It was "on" while I was trying to crank the starter. Not enough power to start the engine.
Try the simple things first.
