Tool Cat UW50 Dead as a Door Nail!

Check cables and make sure they have a good connection, is there a main relay or breaker? Possibly a usable link?

Before you start replacing expensive parts, try "free" easy solutions.
Tap the starter solenoid lightly with a hammer or decent size wrench.
Could be a sticky starter solenoid.
Happens when it gets real cold.

Then start looking at battery cables connections.

Why would anyone replace a battery with 12.7?

A few years ago I thought I had dead batteries and here I bumped a switch with a heavy draw the previous day that was wired directly to the batteries. It was "on" while I was trying to crank the starter. Not enough power to start the engine.

Try the simple things first.

What?????

The thread I linked to explains how to get to the battery if you can't lift the cargo box on a Toolcat.

I've heard of this mythical mega fuse but I've been unable to find it. Where about is it located? I did check the fuseable links by the battery but they're all intact.
On my G series, the 100a fuse is up by the battery where power for everything but starter branches off red lead. It is near where the sight glass is for the hydraulic fluid tank.

Thanks Ruffdog. I'll go searching.

Yup. I agree and have been creeping around that thing with a multimeter. I'll report back this evening.

With John Deere’s they had a run of tractors that the batteries suddenly died. Apparently an internal short would take them out. That’s why I said load test the battery to 100% eliminate the battery.

And the plot thickens.

Confirmed power across mega links.
Power to starter...check.
Power to both fuse boxes in cab...check.
Checked every fuse with multimeter.
Swapped horn relay w critical relays one at a time and no love.

This thing is a rubix cube.
