That picture looks much different than the G series manual too.

I just messed with it this evening following hydraulic lines from the joy stick, I did not realize that there were electric valves at the joy stick I did not take it apart thinking there was a remote electric solenoid from a valve body somewhere, but couldn't find what I had myself convinced as to how it worked. Guess I will regroup and rethink and go back at it, they are a bit complicated without hydraulic and electrical diagrams. By the way the joy stick itself is never locked into a position that it won't move regardless of safety arm

On our G series, with the key off the joystick only moves 1/2 inch in any direction. Same with the arm up or the Lock button pushed on.

Have you found the problem yet? FYI and to everyone trying to help. The A thru C series has a different joystick design than D thru G (current) models. A -C has a hydraulic joystick using pilot pressure from the hydrostatic charge pressure system to direct pressure through joystick to the control valve to move the valve spool. The D and newer have an electric (operate-by-wire) joystick, movement of the joystick sends and electrical signal through the controller to proportional solenoids at the control valve that open and close to allow pilot pressure to shift the valve spools. To disable loader function on the electrical joystick a solenoid locks the joystick from moving. The hydraulic joystick has one solenoid on the pilot pressure line going to the joystick that shuts off the hydraulic flow, joystick will still move but no flow through thus no valve function.

The pilot solenoid is most likely found under the passenger seat down low, easier to access by removing the skid plate. Look for a block with with 4 solenoids and IF it has not been disturbed since build there should be a green zip tie on the electrical connection to the coil. However, I do not believe problem is at the solenoid. If it had a shot to ground or an open circuit there would be code displayed. The controller can detect errors on the output side to the function and will code if necessary but it cannot predict operator's input so when there is an input error no code will display. In this case check voltage and continuity to the switch, through the switch, and back to controller.

Well guys just want to thank everyone that posted to my thread, I got the problem fixed, and as SSDOXIE said I checked the pilot solenoids and sure enough the PACK RATS had ate a wire into on a pilot solenoid, the computer must check resistance through the system because once I replaced the solenoid the bucket lock went away!! SO THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!! These pilot solenoids are under a protection bracket toward your feet seated from under machine.:)

Thanks for the follow-up and letting us know exactly what the problem and fix were. We all appreciate it.
