The way they stretch the facts about lumen output of flashlights, not sure it matters.
Ya, I just buy the brightest ones with the best users reviews. Still brighter than everything made 20 years ago.

As I've gotten older and somewhat dependent on extra lighting almost every shirt I own has breast pockets. Ive become dependent on putting stuff I use frequently in them nice they have pen clips on them so when you bend down your shirt pockets aren't emptied which also happens frequently.
So... all women become their mother. And all men become... their grandfather?

Not poking fun, I'm headed the same way.

If you know where to start. Guess I need to educate myself to the conversion. For example what's a comparable wattage measurement of 70 Lumens?
70 lumens isn't a lot, about like a 10 watt incandescent or 1 watt led (guessing), but about same as an old style 2 D cell flashlight. I have powerful ones, up to a million candlepower but is just a little smaller than pen or sharpie, fits in pocket and enough to see 20-30 feet ahead.

That's what I want. A pocket size that shines 20-30 ft. How many lumen is the one in the pic?

I've got some cheap weapon lights that fit in any pocket and they will light things up 80+ yards quite well.

Flappy discs are indeed nice to use. Today I like to have three grinders on hand when working with steel. One with a flappy, one with cut-off wheel and the last with a normal grinding disk.
I added one more with a wire cup brush.
