Well, I am convinced now. Convinced that When God was shaping and forming this wonderful place we live on, the very last place he made was Texas. Now, having just created an entire world he had come upon a few good ideas. Ideas that added greatly to the sheer beauty of the place. And he did not skimp when it came to doling out those ideas to Texas. That is why Texas is so big, he had so many good ideas they just wouldn't fit into some little sawed-off state. When he was all done he sat back and admired his work and realized two things.
The first is that he had inadvertently created another Eden. Now he didn't mean to but it was just so much fun making Texas and letting his creative juices flow and besides, he new it was the last piece of real estate he was going to make for awhile and well, it just ended up being equivalent to the paradise that he knew he was going to be expelling man from shortly.
The second thing he realized is that after placing plants and animals all over the earth, all he had left was this bucketful of rather detestable problem animals.
However, God never makes mistakes and he smiled as he realized that what might have seemed a mistake at the beginning just naturally worked its self out. Dump the bucket of nasties into Texas, BINGO, no more Eden. Just a real pretty place with monsters.
