I'm getting a Markham tooth bar for my B7510HST. I'm also making portable forks made from heavy steel channel that I had. For those of you that have both a tooth bar and forks, do you take off the tooth bar or put the forks on over the tooth bar's cutting edge?
The combined thickness of the tractor cutting bar and the tooth bar's cutting edge is at least 1". I think that there is also a lip on the cutting bar that goes under the tractor's cutting bar. Does anyone know what the combined thickness of both the cutting bars and the lip is? If I use the portable forks and don't take off the tooth bar, It needs to slip over all thicknesses, then I can tighten the forks to the bucket with a bolt.
