My bucket has a flat straight edge. When I'm loading fresh manure with it, the hay makes it difficult to "grab" a load and tip it back into the bucket. (The hay decomposes in older manure - it's the fresh stuff loaded with hay that's difficult)

I like the simplicity of a tooth bar but I'm concerned it will get in the way of dumping the material in the dump truck. To load it I have my loader at full height and I can only tilt the bucket down slightly when the truck is nearly full.

There are about (6) 3/8" holes already in the leading edge of my bucket. I have to wonder if bolting on a simple tooth to each one could work.

Finally, I know I've seen fairly large deep buckets with teeth on them. The one EA sells is about 3x my budget, but if I could find a used one would be great.

I'd like to hear your opinions.
