Toothbar and Palletworks

SSQA? sorry not familar with all the acronyms yet? Is there a forklift style FEL attachment where I could hook up my AUX hydrolics to make the elevator work?
SSQA is skid steer quick attach. These forks are made for skid steers, but if you have the SSQA setup on your tractor you can use any skid steer attachments. No aux hydraulics needed, they just move like the bucket would.

I have some ebay special $138 chain-on forks and love them! About the most I've put on them is 600lbs but they had no problem with it. I guess it all depends on what you need to lift.

I also bought a set of the chain-on forks. Modified them by welding on a 2 x 4 x 1/4" steel back-stop, replacing the slot for 2 x 4 wood backstops. (Proptly broke off 2 sets of the 2x4 wood backstops hauling log sections.)

Granted, these don't match the purpose built forks, but for my occasional use, these are quick to install and cheap.

After searching the forums for about an hour I decided a tooth bar is just as good as a tooth bucket for what I am going to be doing and that Markham Welding is a good place to get one.

Barring any additional toothbar info, I was wanting to get peoples thoughts on these.

Tractor Forks, Bucket Forks, Loader Forks

They seem like they wouldn't work very well and would stress the heck out of your bucket and FEL. They are 1/3 the price of a manufacturer set of forks.

Just picked up my "Gator Attachments" toothbar formerly Markham Welding tooth bar yesterday. Still a great place and great service. The toothbar is well made and fits like a glove! Get to try it out this weekend!:D

You guys are nuts I have use my forks for 5 years now for everything I can possibly think of. The tooth bar only adds to the strength of the bucket. I think it is fine to go for a tach-all fork carriage but bucket forks are fine for the capacity of the loader. Mine are rated for a thousand pounds & I certainly have used them for the capacity of the loader countless times. The biggest advantage with bucket forks is you can carry your project material on the forks and your tools in the bucket. They are one of the most useful things I have ever bought for my tractor. It is rare that they are not on it or very close by.
