Who dislikes and regrets they bought a (or made their own) toothbar?

I can't remember anyone saying they would give up their toothbar and take their money back...come on...I know you are out there!

I hate my toothbar:



When I walk around the front bucket and it catches my foot.

I don't particularly care for my toothbar when I have to pick it up and wrestle it on the bucket.

Not crazy about the toothbar bolts that get the threads beat up and then don't want to come off with out the 400 ft lbs the torque wrench imparts to the nuts.

But it's a small price to pay for the huge pampas grass it grabbed onto yesterday and let me haul off to the burn pile. I didn't even need to get off the tractor.

If what you are saying is you have a tooth bar you do not want I would be intrested in purchasing it if it fit my tractor.

I hated the week it took to arrive..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Haven't looked back since. Takes under 5 mins (2 bolts) to remove, which I do for snow removal. But definately be careful when walking around the front of the tractor without the bucket flat on the ground. Makes nasty marks /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
