Bruce,
Mark from C&C will probably get back to you in the near future. That's where I would consider purchasing if I was looking.

I talked to Mark about 3 weeks ago and he said at that time it might be as much as 6 weeks before he had any tilt cylinders that were not already sold.

I already have a top cylinder so will just have to wait for the tilt cylinder.

Why are these so hard to get and in such few numbers?

I have been watching the saga of getting the top n tilt cylinders with check valves for quite awhile now. I keep wondering what your suppose to do if one of the cylinders or valves go bad. Sounds like a mess to me. I wonder if deere's or kabota top n tilt cylinders have the same issue with getting the check valves. Or...do they not have the check valves? Anyone know?

Ops...forgot to ask does anyone know the cracking pressure on the valves that CCM is selling?

Mark once posted the number. I believe it was 500. He also explained why it had to be this high. Take a look at the thread below and scroll down about 15 posts, then read the entire thread to the end from there.

Why double pilot operated check valves

The cylinders I got for my L2800 from my dealer do not have ck valves.

Ok...great and thanks. I found the valves locally with a 3:1 ratio. They are rated at 2500 psi and the guy said it would give me a little over 800 lbs of holding. $60.00 bucks plus a cylinder will tell me if it works.

These are imported. With long transit times, by sea via container ship, the sellers have to project their needs a long way ahead. Even with a 20' container that is a big investment for a small business.

That is what happens when manufacturing goes over seas. Unless it is a high value item, air shipment is out of the equation.
