Top and Tilt unusual use

Not sure Brian at FitRite Hydraulics would say this is an intended use of his top and tilt but... We had 5.5 inches of rain Monday and our river flooded a bit leaving this log on my shore blocking my pontoon boat which I had pulled out of the water when it started flooding. The loader wouldn't begin to lift it and dragging it was ripping up my waterlogged lawn. I decided to chain it to the back of my blade with the top cylinder extended. Then I raised the blade and retracted the top cylinder and was surprised that although the waterlogged old tree bowed so both ends were dragging, the middle was well off the ground so I could haul it over to one of my sod fields. The blade lifting that humongous load is a King Kutter Professional.

Anytime that an implement or option can be used to make your life easier, I say go for it, that's what we have these machines for, to make life easier. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: How's your L5740 working out for you? Sure must be nice to have a cab.

Love both the L5740 and its cab. It replaced an open ROPS L3710. Even little things like the much healthier engine sound are "feel good" items. And the cab - yesterday was one of those 88ｰ, 101ｰ heat index days that really make a person appreciate having spent the extra bucks.
