For all you who were helping me with my toplink and Woods BB72 questions last week (the post died with the TBN server hard drive), I just wanted to let you know that I got it set up just right now. The toplink's adjusted much more evenly now (finally got the lock nut loose after some trusty PB Blaster, a long wrench and a vice). I also raised the tail wheel and moved the 3 pt hitch pins down to get more lift.
Friday morning I went right out and started hogging the field. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Probably did about 5 hours worth (real time, not tractor time). Man, did it get hot. Both the tractor and me! It wasn't bogging down, but was definitely working a lot harder than when using my RFM in the yard. Gear selection was key, especially uphill cutting the 5-6' tall thistle and assorted other weeds and grasses. I had to leave it in 4wd and never got much out of 2nd gear in low range. Had to call it quits when I realized the slight pain in my hands was due to sunburn! The one place I forgot to cover! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Thanks again everyone for all of the help and suggestions...
