Its a good feeling to know that you can make as much money as you desire with a waiting list like that. I was wondering if it was a supplier issue or a manpower thing. I fully understand not wanting to hire someone. But it does kinda put a cap on the potential growth of the business at whatever you are able to produce in a given year. But I guess thats better than loosing business and reputation with others doing the work.

I've been self employed my entire life, 50+ years of working for myself. Started when I was 10 yrs old mowing lawns. I had employees the 38 years I did construction, 9 was the most at any single time, no thank you. Baby sat that whole time period (with 9 guys) and did not make any more $$$$.

I do not care to expand, so yes a single person can only do so much, even with automating you can only do X amount as a one man operation.

I always give the estimated lead times in the quote, so there are no surprises. It is what it is and that is by choice.

Believe it or not, $$$$ in not everything. ;)

I can't speak to any of the polotics, but I can say MtnViewRanch's TnT cylinders are worth waiting for.

My dealer got some 3rd party cylinders. They were leaky non-fitting pieces of crap. Apparently that's all they could get & it took months to get them.

Took forever to get the ones from Fit Rite, but they fit perfectly & look great. I don't know how I lived without them. This is my 2nd set from him. 1st set ran off with my old L3200.

I have some bad leakdown issues still, but they go away when I unhook the cylinders, so it's an issue with poor quality valves from Kubota. My dealer knows I'll be bring it in for them here at some point when I get a chance. No leakdown issues with the Kubota loader leaking down when sitting up for weeks.

I still think that the factory valve thing is weird. Kubota seems to have great loader valves and not so good rear remote valves. JD is just the opposite, loader valves are ok, but rear remote valves seem to be good. :confused2:

I'm not sure how I feel about my M7060's rear remote valves. They leak all over the dang place and can't figure out where. they just seep...And I also should have gotten 2 float valves, not detent. How could I change them out, and where would I go to get them?

Have you asked your dealer about these concerns? Maybe if they swap out the valves for ones that don't seep under warranty (which they should) you could get them to put float featured valves in place.

Sort of a tough go at getting a different manufacturers valves to bolt up to the OEM mount though.

This is a shame, the M series valves were pretty good up till about 2 years ago. :( That is when I started hearing-getting complaints about them anyway.

Well I called the dealer, $918 bucks EACH...for a float valve...wow. I'm out.

I would check a different dealer, they list at $684 each. Easy for you to install. They need to replace-exchange the current valves if they are leaking. In reality it should cost you nothing. They list out as the same cost on the build sheet.
