Does anyone know the measurements of the existing top link on a 4720? I am home now 200 miles away from my tractor and never measured! I want to order the CCM toplink so I have it next time I go upstate so my dealer can install it, (said no problem with minimal charge) but dont know which one to order....The website has 2 in question:

Cat 1- 18-26.5" w/ check valve- 2" Cylinder $185
Cat 1- 21-32" w/ check valve- 2" Cylinder $195

And you guys were ALL correct, I have a set of valves already in the rear to take the toplink, and will use the lever in the cab.....

Jerry I went out and measured my top link is 18" retracted, so I am gonna say to go with the 18 to 26 in cylinder.

My original toplink on my 3320 was also around 18 inches. I added the Pat's easy change that more or less moved my bottom links out 2 inches. I use the longer top link cylinder from CCM. JC

I have the longer CCM/Surplus Center cylinder on my 4200, which is 26HP and smaller than your 4720. To determine which one to get, I retracted the manual top-link all the way, measured and then I extended it all the way and measured again. Alas, if you aren't near the tractor, that could be tough to do.

You will always operate the top-link from inside the comfort of your cab, which is the point...to make life easier, comfortable and less frustrating. I assume you could open your right door and reach inside if you need to operate the top-link while standing next to the rig.
